Software Engineering Manager

We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Software Engineering Manager to join our team. As an Engineering Manager, you will drive the overall team vision, empower the team and ensure a culture of inclusive and diverse thinking. You will inspire engineers to push the boundaries of what is possible, and will be passionate about what Resi Media can do to deliver the highest quality streaming experiences.

Responsibilities

Set and communicate team priorities that support the broader organization’s goals. Align strategy, processes, and decision-making across teams.
Set clear expectations with individuals based on their level or role and aligned to the broader organization’s goals. Meet regularly with individuals to discuss performance and development to provide feedback and coaching.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related degree or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of hands-on technical leadership and people management experience.
Hands-on programming experience in one of the following: JavaScript, Java or Python

Demonstrated expertise in problem solving and technical innovation.
A team player with excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience building high performing teams using Agile Methodologies.
Experience mentoring and teaching and grow team members
Ability to work in a cross-functional organization
Ability to establish credibility with Engineers to provide long-term goals and motivation
Excellent leadership and people management skills
