The Multi-Campus Streaming Platform Built for Reliability — Not Workarounds

Most streaming tools weren’t designed for multisite. Multi-campus delivery was added as an afterthought — which means when your connection hiccups, they buffer. When your internet drops, they fail. And it’s always your satellite campuses that pay for it.

Resi Multisite was built from the ground up for synchronized, multi-location delivery. Powered by Resi’s patented Resilient Streaming Protocol (RSP), the platform verifies every packet of data before it ever reaches a receiving site. What you send is exactly what they see — even through complete network disruptions.

Build Stronger Communities with Reliable Multisite Streaming

RSP Reliability

Zero Packet Loss — Even During Complete Network Outages

RSP doesn’t just send your stream — it checks receipt. Every packet of data is verified and resent until confirmed as perfect by the receiving site. Local decoders buffer up to 60 minutes of live content, so even a full network outage at a satellite campus won’t touch what’s on screen.

Unplug the ethernet cable from either end. Your receiving site keeps playing.

Automatic Content Resend

Lost packets are detected and resent before the decoder ever displays them.

Reliable Multi-Location Delivery

Your stream reaches every campus, no matter what the internet throws at it.

Multisite Made Easy

Multi-Campus Streaming Simple Enough for Volunteers to Run

Resi’s multisite streaming platform was designed for the organizations running it — not just the engineers who built it. Campus directors get the tools they need: cue points, countdown timers, and live monitoring, through an interface they can learn in a single afternoon.

Automation handles the rest. Streams start on schedule. No dedicated tech operator required at every site. And when something does need attention, our support team is available seven days a week — Sundays included.

Versatile Distribution

Multisite Encoders and Decoders Built for Every Location

Resi’s server-grade multisite encoders and decoders were engineered for the platform — not adapted from generic hardware. The encoder at your broadcast site captures and compresses video using next-generation codecs (AV1, H.265, H.264), then transmits via RSP across LAN or cloud. At each receiving site, a decoder buffers up to 60 minutes of content locally and outputs to any display via SDI or HDMI.

When encoder and decoder are on the same network, the system runs in LAN mode for maximum performance. If that connection fails, the decoder switches to cloud delivery automatically — no operator intervention, no interruption.

Local Buffering

Up to 60 minutes of live content stored locally at every receiving site.

Multi-Channel Audio Delivery

Encoders and decoders support up to 16 channels of audio embedded on SDI or HDMI.

How Resi Multisite Streaming Works

Still have questions? We have answers.

Web streaming — to your website, YouTube, Facebook, apps, and more — runs through a Resi Live Plan, which uses the same RSP technology as Multisite. For best results, we recommend a separate encoder for each destination, since this gives you full control over bitrate and quality for each output. That said, it’s possible to run both multisite and web streaming from a single encoder if simplicity or cost are the priority.

Not required. The only hardware needed to get started is an encoder at your broadcast site and a decoder at each receiving site. Many organizations also add a decoder at the broadcast site for quality monitoring, setting frame-accurate cue points, and as an on-site backup — but it’s optional.

Resi delivers multi-campus streaming reliability equal to a dedicated fiber connection — over standard public internet, without the cost of leasing or maintaining dedicated lines. RSP achieves this by verifying every packet of data and resending anything that doesn’t arrive perfectly, before the decoder ever displays it. Your connection can drop entirely, for as long as your buffer window allows, and your receiving site sees nothing.

If you do have a dedicated connection, Resi operates in LAN mode for the lowest latency and highest redundancy possible — and automatically switches to cloud delivery if that connection fails, with no interruption on-site.

At Resi, you control your content. We don’t remove or restrict content unless it directly violates our Master Service Agreement. We back this up at the infrastructure level — by running across multiple cloud providers, we’re not dependent on any single platform. That means continuous service regardless of disruptions, and no single point of control over your content.
