Resi’s Resilient Streaming Protocol (RSP) is the only live streaming technology that fully protects against audio and video quality loss by checking and re-sending data until it’s verified as perfect. That means on-demand recordings inherit the same pristine quality as the original broadcast — no post-production cleanup required. Resi’s cloud infrastructure also scales dynamically, so peak viewership events don’t degrade stream quality.
An encoder takes a video input from a camera or switcher and sends it to the cloud for distribution. Most encoders use protocols that transmit video like a laser beam — any network disruption causes buffering, glitching, or dropped frames. Resi’s approach, using RSP through our hardware encoders or ProPresenter Stream, caches data locally, checks it, and re-sends until delivery is verified. It’s the only system that can deliver 100% content integrity in the cloud.
You control your content. Resi will never remove or block content unless it directly violates our Master Service Agreement. We also utilize multiple infrastructure providers and multi-cloud computing capability — so we’re not dependent on any single platform and can maintain continuous service regardless of external disruptions.
Resi delivers enterprise-level broadcast reliability over public internet connections. RSP requires a short delay — typically around 90 seconds for live streams, or around 2 minutes to social platforms — to check and verify data before it reaches viewers. For most organizations, the tradeoff of a brief delay is worth never losing viewers to buffering or stream disruptions.
